The O'Hara Area of Port Charlotte is a mix of waterfront and non-waterfront properties. The area is located at the west end of Edgewater Drive past Midway Blvd. O'Hara Drive is the main street that connects many of the waterfront properties. It is not a deed restricted area nor is there a mandatory homeowners association. The O'Hara area has good access to a number of schools and is located close to the mall and other commercial areas of Port Charlotte.
The boating access is varied throughout this area. There are sail access homes with quick harbor access and powerboat only homes with a considerable boat ride to open water. There is also a wide variety of homes that vary in age, size, and architecture.
Waterfront homes start in the mid $200,000's and waterfront lots start in the high $100,000's. Non-waterfront homes start in the mid $100,000's and non-waterfront lots start at about $20,000.
